Preparing for coronavirus in the judicial administration

The Ministry of Justice and the agencies in its administrative branch monitor the coronavirus situation closely and follow the guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.

At the moment, the primary modes of contacting the judicial authorities are the telephone, email and electronic services. Agencies in the Ministry’s administrative branch keep informing the public about current issues in their areas of responsibility and about preparedness in their respective sectors.

Judicial administration

The judicial administration consists of the independent courts of law, prosecution service, enforcement authorities, who see to the enforcement of judgments, The Criminal Sanctions Agency, who sees to the enforcement of custodial sentences, and Bar Association and the other avenues of legal aid.

A customer may approach any of the legal aid offices; it is often convenient to use the services of the nearest one.
