The Oikeus.fi website contains information about the Finnish judicial system and links to the websites of the independent courts, the public legal aid and guardianship districts, the National Prosecution Authority, the National Enforcement Authority Finland, and the Criminal Sanctions Agency. The Oikeus.fi website also contains links to the websites of other authorities in the administrative branch of the Ministry of Justice.
The Ministry of Justice is responsible for the pages providing general information and those concerning legal aid, financial and debt counselling and public guardianship, the National Courts Administration is responsible for the pages concerning the judiciary, and the courts are responsible for their own pages. The National Prosecution Authority, the National Enforcement Authority Finland and the Criminal Sanctions Agency are responsible for their own websites.
Links to the pages of judicial authorities and agencies can be found on the ‘Contact information’ page. These pages contain information specific to the agency in question, whereas general and common issues are presented on this website.

Technical log data on the website and telecommunications connections
Technical log data that is necessary for transmitting information, providing the service and ensuring information security is collected on the use of the Oikeus.fi website and the telecommunications connections used to access it. The log data includes data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as their IP address and timestamp. This log data is used only to enable the provision of the service via the telecommunications network and to investigate any disruptions and information security incidents.
In respect of the log data, each of the above-mentioned authorities acts as the controller responsible for the processing of personal data for its own part. The Legal Register Centre is responsible for the technical management of log data.
The log data collected for the purpose of monitoring the use, disclosure and legality will be retained for five years.
The Act on the Provision of Digital Services requires that authorities ensure data protection and information security in connection with providing digital services. The General Data Protection Regulation also requires that personal data be protected.
