Presentation of Helsinki Administrative Court
Helsinki Administrative Court is the regional administrative court of Uusimaa province. Its judicial district consists of 26 municipalities. Helsinki Administrative Court resolves administrative and judicial appeals, submission and application issues, and administrative disputes in its judicial district.
The judicial district of Helsinki Administrative Court includes the following municipalities:
Askola, Espoo, Hanko, Helsinki, Hyvinkää, Inkoo, Järvenpää, Karkkila, Kauniainen, Kerava, Kirkkonummi, Lapinjärvi, Lohja, Loviisa, Myrskylä, Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi, Pornainen, Porvoo, Pukkila, Raasepori, Sipoo, Siuntio, Tuusula, Vantaa and Vihti.
All appeals on value-added tax and customs in Finland are handled in Helsinki Administrative Court.
The work of Helsinki Administrative Court is led by the Chief Judge. Other members of the Court are Administrative Judges. Referendaries prepare draft decisions for the examination of the case by a chamber. The Court Administration is led by the Director of Administration.
