Telephone service
On the phone, you can ask about how to apply for legal aid or for general advice on how to interact with an authority.
You can also make an appointment for the phone service provided by a legal assistant or a meeting with a legal assistant. A phone counselling request and assistant counselling always require making an appointment.
Legal phone counselling concerning simple matters is provided by public legal assistants free of charge. A phone counselling session is a brief, one-time remedy for a client’s own legal issue. Before the advice is provided, a disqualification review is conducted. The legal aid office assesses whether the advice can be given or if the client should be directed to make an appointment with the legal aid office. A legal assistant will call you from a number starting with the numbers 0295.
You must make an appointment for phone counselling by calling 029 56 61820.
